Fake iPhone
notifications.

The audience has seen the sticker. They have not seen it land. Stack the pings. Export the hook.

Use cases

What people actually make.

How it works

Write the ping. The lock screen does the acting.

01

Download the Mac app

Unzip MockItUp and open it. The lock screen is native Swift, not a browser mock.

02

Stack the moment

Pick TikTok, Instagram, Messages, Snapchat, Cash App, or a custom app. Add pings. They drop the way iOS stacks them.

03

Export the hook

Save a 1170×2532 MP4 with the wallpaper, the glass, and the ping sounds.

FAQ

Before you download.

Does MockItUp run in the browser?

The site is the storefront. The studio is a Mac app. Download it, stack the lock-screen pings, and export an MP4 for TikTok, Reels, or Shorts.

Do I need an iPhone to make the video?

No. You design and export on a Mac. The file is a 1170×2532 lock-screen video you drop into CapCut, Premiere, or the TikTok editor.

Does it support Android?

Not at launch. The first version is iPhone lock screens only so the glass, icons, and stack match iOS.

Which apps can I fake?

Free includes TikTok, Instagram, Messages, Snapchat, and Cash App. A custom app name is Pro.

Can I use my own wallpaper?

Four built-in lock screens ship free. Uploading your own photo is Pro.

Does it include notification sounds?

Yes. Each ping can play the matching iOS sound as it lands, so the export is a hook, not a silent still.

What file do I get?

A 9:16 H.264 MP4 at 1170×2532. Wallpaper, glass cards, icons, and sounds in one clip.

Can I use the videos commercially?

Yes. The export is yours. Use it in client ads, UGC, skits, or your own brand content.

Does it work on Windows?

Not yet. MockItUp is a native Mac app because the lock screen is rendered in Swift, not in a browser canvas.

Apple silicon or Intel?

One zip. The app is a universal build, so it runs natively on Apple silicon and Intel Macs. You need macOS 26.

macOS says the app cannot be opened. Is that safe?

Yes. The zip comes from mockitup.org. It is not in the App Store yet, so the first open is right-click the app, choose Open, then Open again. If you still see a block, use System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.

Is it free to download?

Yes. The Mac app is free and exports are unlimited. Free files have the MockItUp watermark. Pro removes it and unlocks custom apps and custom backgrounds.
